Lead Software Architect

The Lead Software Architect role encompasses strong leadership skills to align teams and guide them in the right direction at both team and company levels. The ideal candidate possesses a robust understanding of software architecture, design principles, best practices, infrastructure frameworks, and key components within the MS stack, including .Net, AKS, Azure, and Kubernetes, with a keen focus on microservices. You'll report to the Global Technology Director for Cloud and delivery of cloud Infrastructure while maintaining a close collaboration with the Product Director in Product Management. This role also involves collaboration closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure software solutions that align with the organization's goals and strategies.

On a day-to-day basis, your objective involves enhancing existing products and introducing novel solutions, notably through the "Infinity Platform" project, which requires you to play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural vision and technical direction of Anywhere365 software and technology. The mission is to drive innovation at a high level, meticulously steering projects and delivering impactful outcomes. The role delves into emerging technologies such as AI and low-level scalability while remaining attuned to open-source trends and market shifts. A vital aspect is crafting a seamless customer journey experience, weaving together technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following skills:

 (Microsoft Technologies Focus):

• Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture design.
• Experience in cloud computing concepts/ cloud-native solutions with Microsoft Azure services and frameworks.
•  Mastery of .NET framework and its associated languages (C#).
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server / NoSQL databases, such as Azure Cosmos DB.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
• Experience in deploying applications in Kubernetes/ AKS clusters/using Docker for application deployment.
• Skill in designing and building RESTful APIs using best practices.
• Expertise in using Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Good understanding of security best practices in software architecture using Azure Active Directory.
• Awareness of emerging Microsoft technologies and trends, such as AI and machine learning.
