Assistant Financial Controller

Job description

First of all you will join us in our global and exciting journey to grow the value of our market leading solutions even further. As our new Assistant Financial Controller you are responsible of all financial activities such as; general ledger transactions, consolidation and financial statements. Bottom line? You're in control, you love complexity, and you like like to work at a fast-paced organization!

We believe you know what it takes to be successful in a role like this, so we'll just mention key specific aspects that make working with us in this role even more exciting:

1. Accounting for complex transactions in our operational companies

2. Accounting for holding companies

3. Aligning with international external accountants to ensure accurate accounting

4. Ensuring transfer pricing agreements are met

5. Consolidation

6. Liaising with external auditors where applicable

7. Preparing and filing local financial statements

8. Elements of the consolidated financial statements
9. Involvement in M&A activities and post-merger integration

10. You will report directly to the Finance Director

How many of these boxes can you check?

1. The ambition to work for a successful and fast-growing SaaS company

2. The proven ability to communicate with stakeholders in sales, software engineering, marketing and finance, as well a at C-suite level

3. Affinity with a variety of IT systems and the ambition to quickly become familiar with some new ones

4. 4-7 years experience in financial roles, either in public accounting or in industry

5. Experience working for global companies
6. Reading, speaking and writing in English at full business proficiency (deal breaker)

Bonus miles for a good understanding of:

  • - Corporate income tax
  • - VAT
  • - Accounting for holding companies
  • - Internal control
